The Royal Naval Armament Depot 60hp Diesel was a type of engine that operated on the wide array of rail connected depots used by the British Government specifically for the Navy. A small number were built but they saw long and useful service in their intended role. As the depots they served closed, a number have been sold into preservation with examples being found at the Ffestiniog Railway, Lynton and Barnstaple Railway and the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway amongst others. The RNAD kit is based on the preserved Barton Hall on the Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway. It features laser cut construction, 3D printed sections and plenty of etched detail! It’s suitable for 32mm gauge and 45mm gauge. The engine features a PDF Models power unit and comes complete with Accucraft Chopper Couplings as standard!
Hudson Hunslet Victor is based on the preserved Sittingbourne and Kemsley Light Railway diesel currently in service circa April/May 2019. A large number have survived into preservation and see service around the UK with Victor being the biggest in the UK. Other examples survive elsewhere in the world. The engine features laser cut construction and 3D printed sections. It’s suitable for 32mm and 45mm gauge. The engine features a PDF models power unit and comes complete with Accucraft Chopper Couplings as standard.
